Abstract : Every existence in this world has a limitation in time. However, time is not provided equally for every single creature because the quality and length of life for every existence is different. And depending on the given circumstances, the speed of time also keeps changing. That means time is very subjective. I want to introduce the variation of time from my perspective and matters that cause distortion of time

Detail : The important part is the subjective meaning of time. Even though the concept of physical meaning in time has an absolute objectivity, depending on what kind of environment and how to be used, time is not given equally for every creature.

There are two different timelines in this piece. One is the lights that turn around 360 degrees for 60 seconds outside of circle and the other one is a huge cylinder-shaped circle in the middle also turning 360 degrees with water inside in the opposite direction for 40 seconds. The World Health Organization announced that, every 40 seconds, one person pass aways because of suicide around world. Since I know how much those 40 seconds can go slowly and painfully for someone through my experience, I wanted to make the audience see their circumstances more often and give love and support to each other.

Technical detail: For the installation, I used an Arduino, a distance sensor, Neo Pixels and a relay. Through the connection between the distance sensor and pump, it turns on the motor whenever the audience comes close to the piece. And Neo pixels turn on a certain color every 120 seconds. These are constructed by gear system that used to use in old watch and car.
